Vialect has introduced Noodle (formerly known as IntraNet), a robust, broad suite of integrated enterprise social networking tools.

The company highlights Noodle's ability to monitor each employee's Corporate Wisdom, which is calculated by the total amount of items an employee reviews and the total amount of items the employee creates. These numbers are then added together and compared to the total site content to produce that user's Corporate Wisdom "rating". Corporate Wisdom also fluctuates as new content is added to the site.

New Noodle capabilities include:

• an enhanced "people" section that displays the names and photos of all site members; and
• a "what are you working on" feature, which allows users to update their status and notify coworkers what their current projects.

Noodle is available in both an online service (SaaS) or a local software installation. It compatible with both Windows and Linux, and supports Microsoft SQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. Free demos are available from the Vialect website.
